Organising your work through the Job Notes menu provides structured documentation. As you progress on a ticket, you can document your actions sequentially within the Job Notes section. When the ticket is complete, you can use that log to generate a summary for the customer.

The 'Generate Job Notes' button

Upon ticket completion, clicking Generate Job Notes produces a spell-checked, pre-formatted summary ready for copying into ticket notes or time entries as a record of the work carried out.

The Job Notes screen contains three primary lists: To Do List and Notes, Done, and Next Steps.

To Do List and Notes

During the problem-solving phase, you can create a brainstorming list of potential solutions. This list also serves as temporary note storage while you work.

Items in the To Do list are excluded from generated job notes — they act as temporary information that doesn't need to appear in the final record. Any item can be dragged to Done, or checked to move it there automatically. Drag-and-drop reordering is available across all three lists.

Copy all tasks to to-do list

Organisations can set up pre-defined To Do lists and tasks that display when specific criteria are met. These task lists transfer instantly to the To Do list via the Copy all to your 'To do' list button. See the Tasks page for more information.
